Terms of Service

Subject to these Terms, Savor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Savor mobile application on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not: copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the app; reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; or create accounts by automated means.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@checksavor.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

• The standard Subscription Fee is $13.00 USD per month.
• Introductory Pricing: Members who subscribe on or before December 31, 2026 will be charged an introductory rate of $6.50 USD per month for as long as they maintain an active subscription through that date. Beginning with the first billing cycle on or after January 1, 2027, the Subscription Fee will revert to the standard rate of $13.00 USD per month. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice before any such price change takes effect.
• Waitlist Promotion: Users who joined the Savor waitlist prior to launch may have been offered one free month of subscription access. This free month applies to the first billing cycle only and has no cash value. Standard subscription fees apply from the second month onward.
• We reserve the right to change the Subscription Fee at any time with at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app notification.
• Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
• Your subscription begins on the date of purchase and renews automatically each month until cancelled.

Subscribers may pause their Savor membership for a period of 1 to 4 months at a time. The following terms apply:

• Access during pause: You retain full deal access through the end of your current billing period. Once that period ends, deal access is suspended and billing stops for the duration of the pause.
• Billing during pause: No charges are made while your membership is paused. Your subscription does not renew until the pause ends.
• Auto-resume: Your membership and billing automatically resume on the date you selected when pausing. No action is required.
• Early resume: You may resume your membership early at any time via Account → Manage Subscription in the app. Billing resumes on your next regular billing date following early resumption.
• Pausing is not cancellation: A paused membership remains active and will resume automatically. If you wish to cancel entirely, you must do so separately through Account → Manage Subscription or by contacting us.
• Limitations: Savor reserves the right to limit the frequency or duration of pauses available per account.

By using deals through the Service, you agree to the following rules:

• One deal redemption per restaurant per calendar day. Redemptions reset at midnight local time.
• Deals are non-transferable and may only be redeemed by the account holder in person.
• You must show your active redemption screen to restaurant staff during the timed redemption window shown in the app.
• Deals are subject to availability and may be modified or removed by the participating restaurant at any time.
• Attempting to circumvent the redemption system (including account sharing, screenshots, or screen recording) may result in immediate account termination.
• Savor is not responsible if a restaurant refuses to honor a deal. Please contact us at hello@checksavor.com and we will investigate.

Savor operates a voluntary referral program. The following terms govern participation:

• Referral Codes: Each Savor account is assigned a unique referral code, visible in Account settings. You may share this code with others.
• Referred User Reward: A new user who enters a valid referral code during account setup and subsequently subscribes will receive 14 days of free access applied to their first billing cycle. This free trial has no cash value and is non-transferable.
• Referrer Reward: When a user you referred completes their first paid subscription month, you will receive a credit applied to your next Savor invoice equivalent to one free month at whichever rate you are currently paying ($6.50 USD at the introductory rate, or $13.00 USD at the standard rate effective January 1, 2027). Credits are applied automatically and have no cash value.
• Eligibility: You may not use your own referral code. Each new account may apply only one referral code, and each referral code may only be rewarded once per referred account. Referral rewards are only issued upon confirmed payment — trials or failed payments do not qualify.
• No Limit: There is no cap on the number of referral rewards you may earn, provided each referral is a genuine new subscriber.
• Abuse: Creating fake accounts, purchasing subscriptions solely to generate referral credits, or any other manipulation of the referral program is prohibited and may result in forfeiture of all credits and account termination.
• Changes: Savor reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time with reasonable notice. Earned credits already applied to your account will be honored.

You agree not to:

• Share your account with others or allow others to use your redemption screen.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose (e.g., reselling deals).
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Post or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive.

The Savor name, logo, and all content in the Service are owned by or licensed to Savor Technologies Inc. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Savor Technologies Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) $50 or (b) the amount you paid to us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Savor Technologies Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time via Account → Delete Account in the app. Upon termination, your license to use the app ends immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates are effective upon posting to checksavor.com/terms. Continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You may cancel your Savor subscription at any time through Account → Manage Subscription in the app or by emailing hello@checksavor.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Subscriptions are generally non-refundable except in cases of billing error.

If you do not wish to cancel outright, you may pause your membership for 1–4 months instead. See Section 4 for pause terms. A paused membership is not a cancellation and will resume automatically.
