Terms of Service

Subject to these Terms, Savor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Savor mobile application on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not: copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the app; reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; or create accounts by automated means.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@checksavor.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

• The Service is available on a subscription basis at $13.00 USD per month (the "Subscription Fee"), subject to change with 30 days' notice.
• Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
• Your subscription begins on the date of purchase and renews automatically each month until cancelled.
• For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, billing is managed by Apple and their terms govern the transaction.

By using deals through the Service, you agree to the following rules:

• One deal redemption per restaurant per calendar day. Redemptions reset at midnight local time.
• Deals are non-transferable and may only be redeemed by the account holder in person.
• You must show your active redemption screen to restaurant staff during the 2-minute redemption window.
• Deals are subject to availability and may be modified or removed by the participating restaurant at any time.
• Attempting to circumvent the redemption system (including account sharing, screenshots, or screen recording) may result in immediate account termination.
• Savor is not responsible if a restaurant refuses to honor a deal. Please contact us at hello@checksavor.com and we will investigate.

You agree not to:

• Share your account with others or allow others to use your redemption screen.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose (e.g., reselling deals).
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Post or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive.

The Savor name, logo, and all content in the Service are owned by or licensed to Savor Technologies Inc. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Savor Technologies Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) $50 or (b) the amount you paid to us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold Savor Technologies Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time via Account → Delete Account in the app. Upon termination, your license to use the app ends immediately.

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, the following applies:

• These Terms are between you and Savor only, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
• In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the app. Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims you have relating to the app or your use of the app.
• If there is any third-party intellectual property claim, Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of such claim.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and you are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

You may cancel your Savor subscription at any time through Account → Manage Subscription in the app, through the Apple App Store Subscriptions settings, or by emailing hello@checksavor.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Subscriptions are generally non-refundable except in cases of billing error. For App Store purchases, refund requests must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
